The Dandelion Cafe & Student Achievement Centre is an alternative to public education; it is a school for youth aged 12-21 who need a supportive, personalized environment—whether they may be neurodivergent, experiential learners, or facing mental health or developmental challenges—to thrive academically, socially, and emotionally on their journey to a fulfilling future.
"As a homeschooling teen it’s really hard to find in person educational opportunities so when I heard about the Dandelion cafe I was really excited to check it out. I started out coming once a week for the Improv class and within only a few months I loved it here so much that I was coming three days a week, organizing events, and participating in several of the wonderful clubs and activities. During my time here I’ve made some of the best friends I’ve ever had. We all support each other, have wonderful conversations, and learn from each other in many ways."
